Short biography | I am an early career scholar who obtained her phd in the history of science at the Technical University of Berlin in 2016. From 2015 I worked as a research assistant at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Science and Technology Studies (IZWT) at Wuppertal University and at the Institute of Philosophy, History of Literature, Science and Technology at TU Berlin. In 2015/16 I was the managing editor of NTM Zeitschrift für Geschichte der Naturwissenschaften, Technik und Medizin. After my parental leave in 2017/18 I am currently working as a research fellow at the Gotha Research Centre and the Chair for the History of Science/Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies at Erfurt University. My second book examines the relationships between social psychology, marxist-leninist ideology, and society in Eastern Europe and particularly in the GDR. My first book on the German agricultural Enlightenment will be published in 2019. I was an Erasmus student in Nottingham/UK and studied French at the Sorbonne in Paris a long time ago. Since 2010 I live in Weimar with my husband and 3 kids. |
