Nelson Ribeiro is an Associate Professor at Universidade Catolica Portuguesa in Lisbon. His research focuses mostly on communication history, namely on transnational communication fluxes and on the history of broadcasting. He is a member of the network “Connecting the Wireless World – Writing a Global Radio History” financed by the Leverhulme Trust. Presently he is the chair of the Communication History Section at the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) and of the History Section at the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR). |
