Mentorship for Early Career Scholars, 1st session March 17, 2025

The Tensions of Europe network is starting the second edition of its mentoring programme that aims at supporting early career researchers. The sessions are held online and open to PhD students and post-doctoral researchers in the history of technology and neighbouring fields.

The first session will focus on academic publishing and will take place on March 17, from 14:00 to 15:30 (CET). Topics for discussion will include (but are not limited to) how to write your first academic article, what are the main journals in the history of technology and STS, how to handle peer review. The session will be held online, with the participation of Anna Åberg - Chalmers University of Technology; Léonard Laborie - Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Journal of Energy History (managing editor);  Valérie Schafer - C2DH, University of Luxembourg, Internet Histories (co-editor).
